5Our functional currency is USD, but i'm trying to post an adjustment to prepaids in SGD. I select SGD as the currency in the JE, enter the amount of SGD for the transaction, the exchange rate populates, and I assume all is good. Then I view the journal entry output, and it posted the amount I entered as USD. To help clarify:
What I wanted to happen: Enter SGD 429.97 in the JE - convert to USD 313.74
What actually happened: JE posted 429.97 as USD converting it to 589.25 SGD
Why when I specifically selected my number was to be in SGD did the system take it as USD? How was I suppose to enter?
