User does not have send-as privilege when executing work flow

Dear all,

I have define a workflow process to send automatique email.
For that I have define the work flow as belonging to organisation scope and it execute as the owner of the workflow which have full admin rights on the CRM.

Then I have define my email with the from field which is define as sales@mydomain.com which is a normal sales user.

Then when I test my report, I get error " User does not have send as priviledge".

I have set on the sale@mydomaine mail box that is has right to send email on behalf of other user and do the same for all mail box.

But I still have same error, any idea how to solve ?

    Hi Sergec, You need to set the Workflow Owner user settings  via the Workflow Owner User Options;

    Person Options > Email > Allow other Microsoft Dynamics CRM users to send email on your behalf.

    You will have to log into workflow owners crm account to set this, and will allow the workflows to send emails

    Where is this option you are talking in work flow definition, I do not have it :

    "Workflow Owner User Options; Person Options > Email > Allow other Microsoft Dynamics CRM"

    IN my workflow I simply check the Execute as and then I have define the owner of the workflow which have full admin rights.

    If in my workflow I define the From email field with same user as workflow owner, it works fine.

    But my goal is to set the From email adress to be all time sales@mycompany.com

    Then all other users, should run the workflow and mail be send by sales@mycompany.com

    Hi Sergec, You will have to log into workflow owners crm account to set this, and will allow the workflows to send emails.

    As long as the User is the Workflow owner then I will allow the user to send the email via workflow from the Workflow owners email address

    Hello, I think you miss understood what I mean. Let me explain again

    I login to CRM with USERA and then define my work flow process. the workflow is own by USERA and has its execute property set as Work flow owner.

    Then I define property of my email template and in the FROM field I set USERB.

    Then when I run my workflow, it will execute as USERA but the email template will be send by USERB. At that time I get the error of not send as priviledge.

    Then is I send the FROM field of the email same as workflow owner, then it works OK and email is Sent but this is not what I want.

    I want the workflow execute as USERA but email FROM field set to USERB.

    How to avoid this error in such case ?

    Hi Sergec

    Ask User B to login to CRM

    Go to personal options (wheel/settings on top right- highlighted in yellow in my screenshot)>> email tab>>checkmark as 'yes' to 'Allow other users to send email on my behalf'

    I have this option checked already for USER B but it does not help
