SQL error in User Options after DB moved to new SQL Server

I have moved the AX databases to new server. Dynamics comes up and all is good except for one menu item.

As admin, I go to All Users, select a user and then click the menu item Options. I then get an error:

A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server) Access is denied

This is weird because it is not happening on any other item. Also you can still go to File>Tools>Options and the form opens fine.

I have done a full compile, database sync, compiled the form, rebuilt and re-organized the table index, restarted services, and I have cleared the users Usage Data.

I do not have an this issue in any other of my Dynamics environments.

Any ideas?

Here is a resolved thread about the same problem - check if the solution applies to you.

Otherwise I suggest finding what exact place is throwing the error. Knowing more about what's happening it always a good step towards fixing it.
