If your valuation method on the items is anything but Average Perpetual, you can update the Current Cost right in the Item Card.  If the valuation is Average Perpetual, do an increase adjustment for 1 item at the cost you want and then do a decrease adjustment for the same item.  The increase adjustment will set your Current Cost for you.

    Hope this helps,

I'm not 100% sure I understand your comment Refeesh but if you're concerned about price varying by site, standard GP does not allow different prices for each site - one price applies across all sites.  Was that your concern?

Are you using lotted or serialized items?  That is the ONLY way that the system has different costs per site.  Actually, the different costs are per lot or per serial number and it only appears the prices are site specific.

    Dear Richard/frank,

My concern is very simple; our team has created some items in the GP item card and provided only standard cost instead of current cost. Basically this created item doesn’t have any transaction to apply current cost automatic. Now the current value is zero and that field is disabled. I need to apply the same standard cost to current cost without deletion and re-creation of these items.
