Hi,

I am getting the below error while deploying the report.

pastedimage1669817741965v1.png

I have checked the parameters in design level as well as in xml editor. Both have same number of parameters.

I have also tried to remove ReportParameterLayout Tag from xml, but still error persists.

    Hi Priya Dutta,

Try to increase the number of rows and number of columns in report design xml file.

    Thanks,

    Hi Girish,

I am able to increase number of rows but getting a new error on build

“The sequence has no elements”. On increasing number of columns is giving error that it should be less than or equal to 8.

Are you duplicating the standard report?

This will be the problem when you are directly duplicating the report. It will be solved by increasing and decreasing the number of rows and columns in the report design xml.

If that doesn't work then you follow the below suggestions.

Instead of duplicating - Create new ssrs report - manually add the report dataset. Create a new report design - now open the standard report - copy all the designs(ctrl+a) and paste in your new design.

Also keep in mind when you delete the duplicated report, for the newly created report name don't use the same name where you have deleted.

    Thanks,

    Girish S.

    Hi Girish ,

I will try to create new report and copy all the designs.

What about the parameters ? Will they get created or manually I have to create and how ?

Parameters will be automatically added once you add the datasets.

Parameters are nothing but the parm methods that are created in report contract class.

    Thanks,

    Girish S.

    Hi Priya,

Can you please tell me the exact requirement? Why are you duplicating standard?

    Thanks

    Bharani
