Hi everyone,

I’m working with the default Shopify connector in Business Central and would like to understand how Shopify metafields work within this integration.

Specifically, I want to sync a custom field from BC items to a Shopify product metafield using the standard connector. Could someone please guide me on:

How metafields are handled by the connector
What configuration or mapping steps are involved
Whether any AL code customization is required
Any useful blogs, code samples, or documentation

I’m a developer as well, so I’m happy to explore technical solutions if customization is needed.
