Users unable to change Lot Expiration date on 1 item

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

They have an item, PF00329, that they did increase adjustments to it on 9/2 and 9/6. These quantities went to 3 lot numbers (160120A, 160121A, and 160122A). When they enter the item in the Edit Lot Attributes Utility, the attribute fields are not available nor are the dates (the date fields are blank and not 00/00/0000 so there is no way to get into the date fields to change them. I can see the dates when I drill back on the lot in the inquiry windows.

I queried the tables in SQL and see no records for the item number in question in the IV00300(Item Lot Number Master) and IV00301(Item Lot Attribute Master) tables. However, I do find records on those lot numbers for an item XM00749, which is a manufactured item that has the same description as the PF00329 item in question.

Does anyone know why a different item would show in the lots (is there a cross reference somewhere that is supposed to happen between the manufactured item and the final item) or is this damaged records?
