Wondering if what the best way of entering a Bank Account Beginning Balance for a new Business Central implementation.

Hi,
To post opening balance for Bank Accounts you should use General Journal.
Use the Account Type Bank Account and put Account No and other details and post it.

Other considerations being around the balance sheet. Bank account postings will go there too. If you intend to post the balance sheet in one go you may want to post into the bank account with no impact on the balance sheet. This is fine to do as the bank account has it’s own sub ledger. Post the journal as already mentioned but balance it to the balance sheet account in the bank accounts bank account posting group. Once posted perform a bank account reconciliation to close the bank account ledger entry for the opening balance.
