Financial dimensions in PurcheLine different than GL one

Hi Everybody

I'm facing a strange issue in AX !

I created a PO with an item with some financial dimensions (let's say item1 with financian dimension SITE1-PARTNER1). But when i made the receipt an check my GL I saw that one of my 2 accounts setuped for receipt is not contaiting the right Partner financial dimension (it has SITE1-PARTNER2) !

What can be the issue ?

    Hi,

    One possibility is that the findim was changed either before, during or after making the posting.

    Another possibility is that there is a fixed financial dimension setup at the ledger account that is used for posting the receipt.

    P.S : I don't think that your first poitn can be the issue, because if it was teh case so my 2 entries will take the same wrong PARTNER, but it's not my case ! Because my 2 entries are like this  

    4xxxxxx-SITE1-PARTNER1  1,200

    6xxxxx-SITE1-PARTNER2   -1,200

    The entry 4xxxxxx-SITE1-PARTNER1  1,200 is good (because in the purche line item financial dimension line, the partner is PARTNER1)

    The entry 6xxxxx-SITE1-PARTNER2   -1,200 is wrong ! the partnet must be also PARTNER1 !

    Hello JauB,

    The fixed financial dimension setup can be checked in the Chart of Accounts.

    Just open the account used and then take a look at the financial dimensions that have been setup with the value 'fixed'.

    I taked a look now for the setup and saw that "level of main account" is set to "Char of accounts", so I don't think that my issue is related to fixed financial dimension value !
