I have a query regarding item tracing, specially regarding forward and backward trace.
Grateful if someone could help me to understand how it works.
My issue is that I have a batch number generated from a batch order. When I put backward trace to query about the batch number, I was expecting to get the raw materials used but instead I am getting the sales orders. When I put on forward tracing, I get the raw materials.
Also when I click on Production orders, I get several production orders not necessarily related to the Batch order.
I am not sure if I am missing something. Grateful if I could get some help regarding how the item tracing works.
