We'd like to clean up our users in Great Plains. RIght now we have several users in our system that have left our orgnaization years ago. Is this against best practices? Is there any reason against deleting users? for deleting users?

thanks.

    Hi--

I do not see a reason not to.  The user ID is only tracked on transactions (in some cases) as the user who posted.  Thate value is stored in the transaction table, so deleting the user would not affect the ability to see the information.  And I think it is more of management issue to not delete them, as well as a potential security risk if company access has not been removed from them.

    Take care,

    Christina
