When I look at the exams for Microsoft Dynamics AX they still talk about the SQL Server 2008 Exams, are the SQL 2012 already allowed for Dynamics AX, or is MS planning to change these tracks?

What do you mean by "allowed for Dynamics AX"? MCITP for AX2009 requires SQL Server 2005 or 2008 and it's obviously not going to be updated. There is no MCITP for AX2012.
Excellence certifications (not available yet) will require SQL Server 2008 or 2012. I would say that's what you should concentrate on.
