Sales price for Different UOM

Hi

I am having an item with Purchase ,Inventory Unit as "Eaches" and Sales Unit as "Carton" . The Unit Conversion is "1 Carton = 10 Eaches ", I would want to maintain my trade agreement Prices for the item in eaches as 1 Eaches = 100$.

So When I create Sales Order for the same item with UOM as Cartons my price should automatically reflect as 1 Carton = 1000 $.

What is the setup to achieve the above Scenario ?

I have the same question (0)

    Hy Dwarahkesh,

this depends on the default unit of measeure for sales order.

If default Sales UoM = Eaches. Sals price will be searched with for this unit. Base price, trade agreement, … should be setup for eches.

If you then change on sales order line the UoM to Carton, and a Unit Conversation is setup, it will calculate the sales price in the moment you change the UoM.

If the default Sales UoM = Carton, price for carton will be searched, means that also base price or trade agreement price should be setup with UoM carton.

If you change UoM to each at sales line, it will be calculated as Setup in uoM conversion.

You also can setup both prices for eaches and carton in trade agreement with to journal lines.

    Hi Andreas,

I have setup my Sales UOM as Eaches , maintain price also for eaches in trade agreements and also have unit conversion between Cartons and eaches.

But When I try to make sales order with unit as cartons the unit price field is  not populated with any values and it is empty.

the unit conversion should be specific for this item but the standard conversion.  normally, the trade agreement will be calculated by the unit conversion.

    Hy Dwarahkesh,

yes this is exactly what is my experience.

    Either

    - you setup Trade agreement for every UoM you want to use

    Or

    - You setup No Trade agreement, setup the mainly used UoM and price for Sales at the item master data and use UoM conversion, either generic or item specific - to calculate price for the second UoM if you change UoM ar sales order line.

As I said, I tested that UoM conversion will not be applied if the sales price comes from Trade agreement and after inserting you change the UoM at sales order line (and no sales price for this UoM is in a posted trade agreement)
