Hi Dave,
That is strange. Not certain which Acer software is causing this apparent conflict. I guess, if you're willing, you could reinstall the Acer software one at a time and then retest. I did not find any conflict reports with Acer software, but our development team does not typically test running with third-party or OEM software. Otherwise, you'll just need to run without these app on your Dynamics SL machines or you can you a Terminal Server machine for you Dynamics SL users.
Let me know if you have any questions.

ASSESSMENT
==========
I might suggest that you start looking for other programs that could be conflicting with Dynamics SL.
You can download and install Process Monitor and Process Explorer from www.sysinternals.com (redirects to Technet). These utilities may help pinpoint other programs that might be conflicting. I would suggest that you remove as many third-party applications and OEM programs as possible until you can determine the cause. If possible, compare to a working PC.
Plan: NEXT STEPS
================
1) Use Process Monitor and Process Explorer
2) Remove any third-party or OEM software
3) Compare running application to a working PC

Dynamics SL 7.0 , Windows XP workstation, SQL Server 2008, Windows 2008 Server R2.
ASSESSMENT
==========
I'm wondering if this is a operating system issue, not necessarily a Dynamics SL issue. Do you have any workstations that do not have Dynamics SL installed? Or can you remove Dynamics SL from a machine and determine if the XP machine reboots? Also, have you applied any Windows Update recently? You might also check the Windows Eventlogs for any error messages.
Plan: NEXT STEPS
================
1) Test an XP machine that does not have Dynamics SL installed
2) Or, remove Dynamics SL and monitor the PC for any reboots.
3) Check the Windows Event logs
