Character Map - Symbol\Character in GP Text Box

Hello,

Client want to copy paste or type symbol from Character Map into GP TextBox. e.g. Item Description but when we copy and paste it gives question mark symbol.  

To get character map type 'Character Map' on windows search then below window will open.

Below is screen shot for your reference.

Any help on this will be highly appreciable.

    Dynamics GP will only support the standard ASCII  characters in text boxes and fields. There's no support for Unicode characters.

    Hi Sandip,

    Mariano is absolutely right, and I just experienced the problem in GP with the PO module where a user had copy/pasted a Vendor Name from somewhere into the requisition and though GP accepted it without saying a word, when our purchasing dept wanted to run a smart-list and export the result to Excel it would always fail... and I spent about 3 hrs searching from where the bad data was coming (though about 300 lines of export) and fix the problem..
