Business Central unavailable in Oslo, Norway – September 7, 2026

We are currently unable to access Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central from Oslo, Norway.

The issue started this morning and affects both our Production and Sandbox environments.

Symptoms:

Business Central returns “Something went wrong – Cannot connect to the server”
Production environment is unavailable
Sandbox environment is also unavailable
Business Central Admin Center opens, but links/actions inside the Admin Center are not working properly
The same issue occurs in an Incognito/InPrivate browser session
Multiple users are affected

The first error we recorded was around 08:26 CEST (06:26 UTC) on September 7, 2026.

Is anyone else in Norway / Oslo / Norway East experiencing the same issue today?

Microsoft’s public status pages do not currently appear to show a general Business Central outage, so it would be useful to know whether this is affecting other Norwegian tenants.

    Update from MS:

    07.09.2026 09:00:50

Title: Users are unable to access your environment User impact: Users are unable to access your environment. Current Status: After our investigation, we determined that a recent service deployment in Dynamics 365 Business Central introduced a misconfiguration within a portion of the infrastructure supporting sign-ins, leading to impact. We are rolling back the deployment to a known healthy state and monitoring for recovery. Next Update: Monday, September 7, 2026, at 10:00 AM UTC

I just tested it, and it appears to have recovered.

And hopefully, the information below will be helpful to you.

    Hello,

Based on the symptoms you described—Production and Sandbox both unavailable, multiple users affected, InPrivate giving the same result, and even Business Central Admin Center actions failing—this looks much more like a Microsoft service/region-side incident than a browser or individual environment problem. However, I cannot find a publicly confirmed Business Central/Norway East incident for September 7 around 06:26 UTC. That doesn't rule out an outage: Microsoft specifically states that the authenticated Microsoft 365 Admin Center → Health → Service health provides a more accurate, tenant-specific view than the public status page. Check both Active issues and Issue history. Also check the Business Central Admin Center for reported outages; if possible, use Environment → Support → Report Production Outage for the production environment—Microsoft designed this specifically for cases where all users can't sign in. If that Admin Center action is also unusable, I would open a Microsoft support ticket immediately and provide the start time 07-Sep-2026 06:26 UTC, tenant/environment IDs, correlation IDs from the error page if available, and mention that both Production and Sandbox are affected. At this point, I wouldn't spend much more time troubleshooting extensions or BC configuration because those wouldn't normally make the Admin Center itself malfunction.

    Regards,
    Oussama Sabbouh
