If I have the item A - price $100, Item B-price $120, Item C-price $130 and these items will have the discount schema as buy 3 get 1 free within the same item, not mix, how can I set it? In this case, I have about 50 items that want to have this kind of discount scheme.
Actually, I've alreadty set Discount scheme as below:
Buy 3 for full price and Get 1 for Free with 100% discount. Next, I attached this scheme to all 3 items. It works if I scan items A - 4 pieces, the 4th one will be displayed as free item.
However, if I scan item A- 3 pieces and Item B - 1 and item A-1 piece again, the system will give Item B for free, not A. Because Item A and Item B use the same scheme so it's mixed. But we don't want to mix and don't want to create separate scheme. How can I get Item A (the 4th one for free) although I have scaned Item B between Item A?
Thanks.

Walter, Buy X Get Y is great for if you have items a, b and c and don't care which item is X and which is Y, but if you want to be able to by either a or b and only get c, then RMS will not work as you would like.
Hi, use get x for y in SO->Database/Discount.
I am not certain that this can be done out of the box.
If you are interested, we have created a module called Promo Manager that allows you to be more specific about what X can be, what Y can be and how discount is applied. If you would like to learn more, please shoot me an email or give me a call!
