Capable to Promise Functionality Error

Good morning,

Is anyone experiencing an error when using the Order Promising functionality within the Sales Order page? More specifically, when using the Capable-to-Promise. The error I message I am receiving is /Due Date must be filled in when a quantity is reserved in Requisition Line Worksheet Template Name = 'PLANNING',Journal Batch Name='DEFAULT',Line No.='3000'. Each time, I run the Planning Worksheet, there are a few items that show it requires an action to purchase; however, these items are in fact on a purchase order. There are no commonalities between these items as far as a planning set up. Some of the items are set up with Re-Ordering Policy of Order and other is Fixed Re-Order Quantity. In addition, these issues started occuring after March 7th.  We haven't had an issue with this type of error before and we are utilizing the same ordering processes. Once, I delete the items from the Planning Worksheet, we are able to Capable-to-Promise the sales order, however; we are unsure of what is driving this to happen so it's causing a delay in order processing. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

From the error message, this is caused by "Due Date" being empty.
But I'm not sure whether this is caused by customization. It is recommended that when this problem occurs again, let the developer debug it, so that the error details and problems can be quickly found.

Hope this can give you some hints.
    Thanks.

first of all, you need to clarity the exact name of the planning tool you are using. requisition worksheet and planning worksheet are similar but not the same tool. I doubt that you use both for planning cause that will confuse the system.
If you are not on premium license with no production, then you are using requisition worksheet.

check the line no. 3000 on the worksheet what item it refers to. if an item is reserved, it must be reserved for a demand, be it a sales order, production order etc. To effectively determine what to plan, when to plan, BC needs the due date.
go the item card and check reservation entry, complete the reservation by populating the due dates if missing. Also, you could use order tracking to trace the origin of the reservation.

also check the reservation setting on the item card, update as needed.

those might help you further troubleshoot, hope it helps
