Can anyone refer me to documentation covering the pros/cons from a total cost of ownership perspective of having a dedicated vs. online instance of microsoft dynamics? I know that online brings with it easier provisioning, cloud based updates, but this is at the cost of limited workflow automation and custom reports.
What I'm struggling with is understanding how much extra the cost components would be for a client that considers going on-premise for 100 users to enable them to benefit from additional functionality.
