Is anyone successfully using the new Mobile Offline feature in the iPad app?

The reason I ask is for our company on multiple iPads and other mobile devices the new CRM 2016 Mobile Offline isn't working.  The filters in the Mobile Offline Profile as well as the entity's "Organization Data Download Filter" do not provide the correct data (if any) when offline.  You cannot use the "Startdate = Today" filter for activity views.  If you do the message "This view cannot be used offline".  Lastly, some custom entities will save a record, but the form in the app never closes.  Just keeps saying "Saving....." but never closes.

So far MS Support has not been helpful at all.

I've searched far and wide online and have found no mention if anyone is successful or unsuccessful using the product as if I'm the only one trying.

So I just want to know if this feature is ready for prime-time or if I need to tell my customer to try a 3rd party product.

Thanks....

Still looking for an answer to this since I've not heard of anyone using the Mobile iPad app offline successfully.

I have some clients using it, thought not on an iPad specifically.  MS is redoing mobile offline for v9 (and that offline support isn't released yet).  I suspect because there are these problems with their implementation.

Ours have been far from rosy, too.

As for specific questions, do you have users assigned to their mobile offline profiles?  Are they scoped like you want?  In the Solution itself, do you have any unexpected entity filters?  There's technically both an entity-level and a user-level filter for mobile offline, which sometimes makes  it possible to get no offline data if they conflict.
