Can Web Apps be load balanced?

The technical team want to install web apps onto multiple load balanced web servers. The installation manuals do not mention anything about installation on multiple servers or settings for load balancing.

Has anyone done this with Web Apps? And if so are there any gotchas or things we need to consider?

We have managed to get this working with 2 web servers running under 1 load balancer.

The only major issue we initially had was that sessions were timing out after approx. 2 mins. After finally finding the settings for this on the load balancer everything has worked perfectly.
