CRM Mobile Apps

Hi everyone,

Do you know if the mobile apps (Android, specifically) works on MS Dynamics CRM 2011, or would we need to upgrade to 2013?

I've seen at least one company that offers mobile apps (CWR Mobility) but would probably prefer something out of the box with MS.

Do you guys have any experience with CWR or similar tools?

Thank you,

Enrique

The tablet and native phone apps are specific to CRM 2013. In 2011 you can access the mobile version of CRM by appending a "/m" to your organization url.

    https://servername/orgname/m

There is no OOB mobile app for crm 2011 but you could access crm using browser. To use  oob mobile app you need to upgrade to crm 2013

    Hi Enrique,

CWR Mobility has been selected as Microsoft Global ISV for MS Dynamics - Mobile CRM. Please send me your contact details and I will help you with your questions.

If you own CRM2013 and you own one of the supported devices, Microsoft's mobile solution is a good option.

Microsoft selected CWR mobility to fill the gaps when Microsoft doesn't support your deployment.  Therefore, if you have CRM v 4, CRM2011 or CRM 2013 with an Android, Windows, Apple iOS or Blackberry, CWR is your preferred option

    Hi Enrique,

CRM for Mobile Apps and Tablet both are for CRM 2013.

In CRM 2011, you can access mobile version by just typing the URL of your org in the browser.

If you need some advance apps, you can try CWR Mobility or Resco Mobile CRM

My customer has experienced with CWR, it also supports offline mode just in case the salesperson doesn't have good internet connection and you can also customize using their own SDK, which CRM Native app is only limited customization.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks.

    Hi Enrique,

Addition to the above answers, I would recommend the CWR Mobility. I've used the product for a couple implementation projects, their support and product capabilities are the one that clients love. Even, personally it's better than the current OOTB CRM mobile app.

    HTH, just my 0.02.

Thank you everyone for the responses. Looks like CWR is a good option if the native mobile screens don't provide enough functionality. Will need to test it and decide.

    Regards,

    Enrique

Don't bother with the iPad app for 2013. It doesn't work.
