Back Order Report Showing Void Order Items

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

In my Smartlist Report 'Sales Line Items' - Back Ordered Line Items, it is showing items/order that had been marked as VOID in the Sales Transaction Entry menu.  The document status is Posted.  Does anyone know how to rid of these line items from the report permanently, or why they're showing up here?

    Hi,

You can use Sales - utilities to remove the voided back orders so it will removed permanently.

Sales >> Utilities >> Remove Sales History

Use the Remove Sales History window to remove Sales Order Processing history records. Because historical records increase the amount of hard disk space needed, you should remove history periodically to keep only the information you need. If you specify a range to remove, only the documents in the range that have been moved to history will be removed.
