estricting/remove access to Intercompany Purchase Orders and Intercompany Sales Orders

Hi,

We want to estricting/remove access to Intercompany Purchase Orders and Intercompany Sales Orders from the manage tab on Sales Orders through security. We cannot find these options in the security configuration, can anyone help?

Hi Willy,

These actions are not menu item buttons, but buttons without a menu item linked to it. In that case, you would need to manage it with form permissions. I wrote about this topic before on my blog: Securing a menu item is not enough - form controls - Dynamicspedia

The form controls you need to restrict are: ButtonInterCompanySalesTable and ButtonInterCompanyPurchTable. By default, the NeededPermission property is set to Create. As mentioned in my blog you an overwrite this using security configuration or security customization.
