Regrading compatibility issues in windows 10.

Hello,

I am using windows 10 on my laptop and my server in running on windows 8. When trying to install from windows 8 server to my laptop on windows 10, installation is giving error due to compatibility issues as my laptop is running on higher version of windows than the server. Is there any hotfix for the same.

Hello Shivanshoo,

I have the same setup as you and I have no compatibility issues. I run a laptop with Windows 10 and install from a server running Server 2008. I use AX 2012 R3 RTM.

Make sure you are running the Validate system requirements in Prepare section of the installer first. make sure you have loaded all the requirements and everything should work on Windows 10. If you still have problems, as Rudi suggested, please let us know what the error is you are getting.
