Hello,
I was wondering if there is an easy way to organize the videos or images uplodaded for Guide projects to be specific for the project. In the environment I'm currently using all media uploaded gets dumped into a common folder so that with each new guide, the clutter starts to build up making it difficult to find guide specific media.
I'm a newbie to this so I would appreciate any advice on the subject.
Thanks very much!
Hi Martindo123,

Hi Martindo123, this is not supported yet but is on our roadmap as we recognize the challenge. In the meantime, you can apply permissions to 3D models and images as a way to limiting visibility to operators and authors. Some more information can be found here: Basic concepts for deploying Dynamics 365 Guides - Dynamics 365 Mixed Reality | Microsoft Docs. Also, if you share guides as part of your procedures, the Guides model-driven app has a view to see a list of all content associated with the guide. See Assign ownership of a guide in Dynamics 365 Guides - Dynamics 365 Mixed Reality | Microsoft Docs.
I understand, it annoys me too. Over time, I learned how to solve my problem, so I set out my thoughts and best practices in this article. You can read, study, it is quite possible that my method will suit you too. After all, I tried to describe all aspects of working with video that you may encounter.
