Hi All,

I want to show a dialog to the user on click on the button in Order Entity if some fields from opportunity related to it are missing.

I want to add URL to opportunity entity inside the dialog.

How to do it?

You can use the alertDialog of Xrm.Utility.

You might also consider using setNotification or setFormNotification if you want. That might be a little more aligned with what you are trying to do:

    Hope this helps.

    Hi ,

I am not sure about how you can display the entity form inside dialogue.

But did you try with openentityform? It may be the case it will open separate tab or window.

    Hi,

Didn't notice the last part of adding the Url inside the dialog.

There is no supported way to do this.

You will need to use a web resource in order to customize what is inside the dialog.

    Consider using alert.js:

    github.com/.../alertjs

    Hope this helps.

I did this using Plugin. On click of the button in Order entity, I called plugin and checked for missing fields and sent back the info in javascript.

Then I am simply using something like this:

    Alert.show(null, actionResponse.DialogText, null, "ERROR", 600, 400);

Action response has all the data coming from plugin including URL.
