In Accounts receivable - > Inquiries and report -> Invoices -> Invoice historyI cannot find a specific row on a SalesId, even though it exists when I view it in the table browser.
Is there any explanation as to why I cannot see this record in the invoice history table?
Hello,
The only time I have seen this happen is if the invoice originated from a general journal entry and the user forgot to include an invoice number. Can you confirm if the invoice missing is from a sales order? or did it come from another module?
regards,
Yes, it's from a sales order that we are trying to delete that gives the "The sales order cannot be deleted because related not posted transactions exist" error. There is however no invoice number for it, but I can see it being referenced in the SalesParmTable. When I go to try and delete it in D365 I can't find it, but again it's obviously there when I use the table browser extension in chrome.
This is strange behavior, sounds like corrupted data to me. You probably will need a developer to take a look at it. Maybe write a X++ job to clean up and delete the corrupted rows.
Hi Agneum,
SalesParmTable is used not only for invoices. Probably from table browser you see another document. Check the "Update" (Ordering - system name) field. It should be 7 or Invoice.
