10Native Client(ODBC) Compatibility with Dynamics 8.2 on-premise
We have an Dynamics on-premise system version 8.2 which has a prerequisite for SQL native Client version 10.1 and we are currently looking at the other version SQL native client which is supported for our Dynamics version 8.2.
While installing Dynamics 8.2 we had to install the native client version 10.1 and since Native client(ODBC) is EOL we need to find an alternative version to support our Dynamics version. I have tried installing native Client version 17.3 and uninstalling the version 10.1 but it completely broke our environment.
Any one had this experience before or any solutions that you are aware of?
Current environment software versions:-
Dynamics 8.2
Sql server 2016
Native Client 10.1
