How do I restrict items by location so that these items are allowed to be put in those specific locations only or it can be the other way round as well, like only specific items can be put in these locations.
Would be better if there's an option for a location profile as well.

Nothing that corresponds exactly to what you are asking in termes of "restrict items to certain locations" or "prevent items from going into certain locations" but can get pretty close to that.
Using Location profile, you can specify these locations can only house one item ID. When you try to move an item in a location that has already something else there (mobile or using a journal), you will be prevented from doing so.
Using Fixed Locations, you can assing specific locations (can be multiple locations) to specific items and make sure that whenever we receive or move (directed movement or move by template) system directs to these locations.
