I have a .png pic (805 bytes) that WILL NOT paste into the Report Write Definition area.
I have followed the steps as outlined in the contents. I am stumped. I have done this b4 but this one just will not insert !!!!

That was the answer. TY sooo very much.
When pasting images into the RW picture definition window there are a few things to keep in mind.
1) The size of the image should be no more than 32KB (in your case this does not appear to be an issue).
2) RW "prefers" bitmap images. Please convert the image to bitmap, check the file size again and try to paste in the definition window again.
3) Each image in the reports dictionary needs to be uniquely named to prevent issues.
As a test please use the following steps to try and paste the image into the definition window.
1) Open the image in paint and using the selection tool select the entire image and press Ctrl+C or right-click the selected area and press copy.
2) Open RW and bring up the definition window. (Resources> Pictures> New)
3) Type in a name for the image.
4) Click in the picture pane of the window. (A dotted outline should form around the box.)
5) Press Ctrl+V to paste or select edit>paste.
