copy Commerce product hierarchy setup from one Category to another

Posted on 8 Jun 2021 07:29:04 by 117

how I can copy the setting from one Category to another on Commerce Product Hierarchy??

we have many categories and we configured the setup for one of them.

going with the same process for the rest is really a time consuming process.

how to copy the setting for the rest??

    Hello w.sallam1,

There is no way to copy on that form. However, it should not be needed as it is a hierarchy setup.

If you need the same settings to apply to multiple categories, you would set up those settings on the level above, those settings will inherit to the categories under it.

For example In the screenshot below, I can setup a configuration in Fashion, and it will apply to Womenswear, Fashion Accessories, and Menswear.

Then if I need more specific settings on 'Skirts' for example, I would configure that setting in  the 'Skirts' category only. Then the 'Skirts' category will have all the settings from ALL+Fashion+Womenswear+Skirts

    I hope that helps.
