Hi
I imported some products from my old POS system. They have labels that have been printed on the old system with barcodes and they now correspond to the lookup codes.
I tried to add some new stock today and printed off the labels but they are not being scanned by my scanner. I have tried all the barcode options and no joy.
The barcodes are printed with a Dymo. My scanner is a Metrologic Voyager and will read all other barcodes that I have tried. I am just having no luck with the barcodes printed in RMS.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Hi Betty
Try making the code really short "T1" for example and set it to 128A as the barcode type.
When you create the label to print, don't create a new label, use an existing template and edit that so it the same size as the Dymo label. The important thing I found here was not to change the size of the barcode object as that caused an issue
Also near the bottom of the label designer wizard you can change the option from Twips (huh?) to cm and that made adjusting the labels easier :)
How long are you lookup codes as of right now? I found that more than about 7 caused it go wrong.
Let me know how you get on.
Ours is completey new retail store so no legacy codes out there.
I am having the same problem. I have shortened the barcode number and that didn't work. I also tried printing one from the Dymo using the Dymo software with my numbers and that didn't work. BUT, if I print a generic label from the Dymo printer - that works.
I am at a total loss here. Any suggestions at all would be helpful.
