Hello,
Our vendor rebate setup seems to be unique in that a single item can have multiple rebate values for the same vendor. Our vendor rebates are approved on a per customer basis. Example:
Customer A: Approved for 4.8% vendor rebate on item 1234
Customer B: Approved for 4.5% vendor rebate on item 1234
Customer C: Approved for 4% vendor rebate on item 1234
Once we gain rebate approval from our vendor, we then setup customer Sales Trade Agreements to simply pass the rebated savings along to our customers straight away. In other words, we do not make our customers submit for rebates. From there, we manually track sales to approved customers and manually submit vendor rebates monthly by customer.
In working through D365 F&O, I can only setup items by rebate group or individually by qty or $ amount. There is no way for me to link to a specific customer or enter multiple rebate vales for the same item and have the system know when to apply which rebate %. Has anyone else experienced this? Are we alone in the fact that our vendors handle rebates in this manner, tied to end-user customer sales? Any guidance would be appreciated!

Hi clarkmc07,
For special supplier rebate rules, you may need to do some customization.
