permission sets does not display permissions that are created via Permissions.xml in AL

Posted on by 431

Hi All,

I created the Permission Set with Role ID='SD' and Role Name='Special Design'. I placed a new field of type Code[20] on some custom table and set TableRelation="Permission Sets"."Role ID" and this field is displayed on custom page.
As I open the webclient and I go to that custom page, I see new field, and as I drill-down on that field there is no Permission Sets dispalyed as expected.
If I open standard page Permission Sets, the Role ID='SD' is there as expected.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks Damjan

    Hi,

Instead of Table relation property use OnLookup Trigger and then try to call the page after Reset the records and settableview property of the permission set page.

    Thanks.
