I have a client who is attempting to use field level security. It does work for sa however does NOT for a non-sa user. I try it on my machine and it works for both sa and a non-sa user.
We have tried and checked the following:
1) Verified owner of the Dynamics and production databases are DYNSA.
2) Reran the grant.sql script
3) Created a brand new user with power user permissions and the same default for modified report/forms as sa.
4) Compared the WDC41101, WDC41300, WDC41500 and WDC41400 from my machine and database which works to theirs and they are the same.
5) Made sure to log out of GP after setting the security and then log back in.
Any ideas on what we may be missing or need to check to get the field level security working for the client in their database? Any sql permissions, GP permissions/security, some setting somewhere, specific order of modules installed? Anything to try?
