Hello All,
Last year we had a D365 cloud-hosted environment fail multiple attempts at applying a platform update. After aborting the last try, the deployment status says ‘Deployed’ and the environment is operational but on the full details page in LCS under Environments updates, it still says ‘Servicing status: In progress’? As a result, the start/stop/deallocate buttons are not available. I can turn it on/off in Azure but we no longer use it and would like stop it and delete it in LCS
Our partner tried to 'Invoke-D365LcsEnvironmentStop' but also got this error:
{
"IsSuccess": false,
"OperationActivityId": "5b1d1053-9355-4471-a2f0-05d6c42c6117",
"ErrorMessage": "The environment is not in a stoppable state. Please verify the environment is not already stopped or if the environment is currently undergoing another operation.",
"VersionEOL": "9999-12-31T23:59:59.9999999"
}
Anyone experience anything like this or know of any other ideas to get it out of the servicing state – or get LCS to see it as ‘stopped’ so I can delete it from there? I can delete it in Azure but I would prefer to delete it through LSC so it doesn't continue to show a non-existent environment in deployed status in LCS – which I assume it will if I just delete it in Azure. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Jason
