This report layout cannot be saved because it is empty

We have a customer who goes into Report Writer to make changes and when they save the changes, they sometimes get the error message "This report layout cannot be saved because it is empty". What could be the problem?

The only time I have received this message is when there were no sections to the report. If you open Tools | Section options, none of the boxes are checked. Like this:

On a Terminal Server? Or have the REPORTS.DIC on a file share?

Sounds like you don't have permission to write to the file when you go to save.

Could be multi-user access.
