Hi All,

I have installed CRM D365 onpremise V9.0 recently and I am trying to connect my organization by plugin registration Tool and XRMToolBox,but both I am not able to connect.I am getting error : 'Invalid URI: The hostname could not be parsed.'

I have tried with latest XRMToolbox and plugin registration Tool from Nuget.And I tried with older versions too but no luck.

Please let me know the possible causes to this.

Hi All,

please make a note , I resolved this issue by reinstalling as mine was the fresh Installment,seems some database corruption during Installation.

OK, I hope there should not be any issue with set up files , we can download from Nuget and use it.

because plugin registration tool is part of dynamics crm SDK.

Let me know why my CRM D365 onpremise,Customer engagement , v9.0 setup is not included Plugin Registration Tool ?

Whether this will be the right setup files? I could see CRMsvcutil.exe, deployment manager , srsconnector etc. but not plugin registration tool.

Yes. I did but no luck, let me know whether https is compulsory for PRT also? I did self signed CA binding only.

Hi Parshuram,

I think you are providing wrong URL , go to settings --> Customization --> Developer Resource , where you can find actual host URL.Copy the URL (http:\\hostname\orgname) from there . Please find below highlighted in screenshot -

Hello All,

I did all workaround but still no luck... one point I want to confirm is my server name consists '-' e,g. abc-cd-test... so whether this '-' giving invalid URI issue let me know... I could try to rename it replacing by '.'
