Looking for an RMS report as shown below for a month:
Sale for each day of the month by Department and/or Category.
Department 1 2 3 ...... 31 Total Sales
Clothing $1200 1000 500 ...... $2700
Shoes $ 500 300 200 ....... $ 1000
Any help would be appreciated.

Run Store Operations Manager, Reports, Sales, Details Sales.
Select default date filter and change to Last Month then OK to run report.
Right-click on report and select Show/Hide.
Scroll down and enable Date Sold and click OK.
Drag Date Sold column to leftmost position.
Select Grouping icon in top toolbar and select 'Group 1st two columns'.
Select 'Collapse grouped rows' in toolbar.
Now you should see days of the month with dept totals by day.
You can right-click, select Show/Hide and remove Category, Item, Description, Qty Sold, and Sold Price.
Select Memorize in toolbar and save as "Sales by Dept by Day of Month".
If you want to change how this data is displayed in a table you could click Export icon in toolbar, uncheck 'Export hidden rows', export as tab-delimited text file and open the file in Excel for editing.
