Deploying sandbox environment fails for Dyn365 Commerce

I have been trying to deploy a Dyn365 Commerce Demo environment to our Azure subscription but receive this error 

Lifecycle Services cannot perform the current {0} operation. Received null or empty value for parameter {1}. If the issue persists, please contact support with this Id: 21a3d515-8659-492d-b1f3-8f478e4bb9b9

We have a trial subscription of Commerce but not able to use it.

From the error message, it is hard to figure out what we missed during the setup and configuration of the project.

Any ideas on how to solve this ?

    Can you check if the D13 VM size is available in your region or subscription? I have faced issues when LCS used to default to a VM size that was not available due to the region or subscription type. DS13 v2 which is in the same price range used to work for me.

    D13 VM size is not available for my subscription, I will try another one which is available and let you know how it goes.

    Selecting DS13 v2 worked for me. Thanks a lot.

    Happy that it worked. You don't have to stick to DS13V2, we choose the VM size based on the workload. Sometimes, even B8MS(which is comparatively cheaper) has worked for us. This blog should be a good reference : denistrunin.com/.../
