SQL Core Server 2014 and RMS

Does anyone know if the SQLSvrStdCore 2014, core version of SQL2014 works with RMS? Have a Client using SQL 2012 and looking to update to the core version of 2014. Core version allows unlimited CALS.

    SQL 2012 is the last supported version

    not officially.  You would need to test it and definately have a backward compatibility pack installed for SQL Server.

    My test box is running SQL 2014 Express, and I haven't found any issue yet. It's still not supported though.
