There are two unmanaged solutions A and B, and main form of account entity is customized in both the solutions. Which unmanaged changes will be reflected in the default solution?

Thanks in advance.

    Thanks Goutam. This makes sense.

Unamanged solution A (Account entity, Main form) - Field abc visibility set to False, added a case subgrid (Published changes)

Unmanaged solution B (Account entity, Main form) - Field abc visibility set to True, there is no case subgrid (Published next)

So this is how my default solution will be-

Default solution (Account entity, Main form)) - Field abc visible True, no case subgrid.

Please confirm if that's a correct understanding.

Okay, I this case the most recent update will take effect. Remember the component is same hence when you open a particular component from a solution , the same you open from another solution.  As far as i understand if you make changes to a component ,i.e in this case from visibility to true post which from other solution you open that again and see it as True and make it false and publish. the result will false.

    Hi Akanksha,

When you are changing any component in one or multiple  unmanaged solution that means you are doing changes in default solution. No matter which solution you are doing what, If you are doing changes in  same component in different solution then always final changes will be applied. In your cases always last changes means if you set visible off at last and publish the  both solution will be visible false.

    Thanks Rawish.

That makes sense as far as the solution components are considered. But what I am still unclear about is since there are conflicting changes in the account form, what final changes would be reflected in the default solution.

For instance on an account form I have a field (visibility set to false) in unmanaged sol A and for other unmanaged solution B, I have the same field with visibility set to True. In this case after I publish the change what will be available in the default solution?

    Hi Akanksha,

Your Default solution has whatever is published in dynamics CRM - doenst  matter if its there in any solution or not.

So as soon as your components published from any solution - the same will reflect in Default solution.

Remember - the number of form in this case is just one , It is just being referenced in Solution A, Solution B and  Default solution. component is just one.

    Hope this makes sense.
