Customer invoice transactions report (CustInvoice) filters not applying?

Hii,

We apply filters like Dimension Set, From Date, To Date, Invoice Account, Customer Account, Open and run the report.

Report shows all the records. No filter is applying. I deploy the report again from VS but same results. Whatever the filters are, report is showing all records.

AX 2012 R2.

    Hi,

    CustInvoiceTmp table is a temporary table used for processing custInvoiceReport data and its table type cannot be regular. Please check whether there is any change done by any developer(during testing/made code checkin) that made this change. Tabletype property is TempDB by default(from out-of-box).

    Thanks Ludwig,

    I just noticed that CustInvoiceTmp table is of type Regular. Whenever we run the report its adding new rows.

    So, I changed the CustInvoiceTmp table type to TempDB and run the report again and there was no duplication.

    It solved our problem.

    But need your professional review, can I change this table type from Regular to TempDB. Is this ok about the functionality and accuracy of the report?

    Hi Rana Anees,

    Do you have access to a developer? I think you will need to hire one if you can't get this report problem fixed through the MS support and can't access available hotfixes.

    If this is not an option then you have to create the Report yourself for example by making use of the available inquiry forms, such as this one

    By filtering the records that you want and exporting them to Excel, you can create your own customer invoice report.

    Dear Ludwig,

    I still have the repeat rows and filter not apply problems with CustInvoice report.

    Contacted with MS for Access LCS and they said contact with your partner and partner said SLA has expired so they can't give access.

    Hi Rana Anees,

    Are you working for the customer who owns D365 or for the partner who implemented it? If you are working for the customer you should have access to LCS because that is 'your' project. Irrespective of that, if you can't Access LCS for whatever reason, you can open a support call with MS and ask to send you the respective fixes.

    We don't have access to LCS as the partner contract expired. Is there some other possible solutions available?

    Hi Rana Anees,

    This behavior might be due to a bug with this Report. Have you already checked the available Hotfixes on LCS?
