Add a new level in the Business Portal Approval Hierarchy

Currently 20+ users are directly under Approver A in the Requisition Management Approval Hierarchy. They now need to add Approver B under approver A, with all the users reporting to B who reports to A. I cannot find a way to insert a new level between 2 existing levels. Is there a way to add B under A but a level above the 20 users?

If I were to replace Approver A with Approver B, and then replace the person above that with Approver A, is there a way to do that and have them still keep any documents that are currently assigned to them? in other words, can I have Approver A's documents follow them to the new level?

Last question, sorry. Does the buyer need to be the highest level in the tree. Right now they are below the unlimited approver.

Thanks!

The best option is to add the Approver (B) above Approver (A), then consider the replace function to switch between the approvers in order to have Approver (A) above (B) again. The essential point to consider when replacing a user with another, all work items associated with the current approver will be assigned to the new user. A message will show up stating so, and you got to proceed with this to get it done.

In this essence, you can let the Approver (A) get all their current work items handled before applying the changes on the Approval Hierarchy.

As for the (buyer), I think you are okay to get them under the un limited approver. The point to consider is which user will be migrating the Requisitions (after taking the final approval) into Dynamics GP from "Purchasing Section" in Requisition Management.

    Hope this helps,
