Uploading a list of Globally Unsubscribed / Hard Bounces from another platform into D365

Hello,

I'm transitioning from Eloqua to Dynamics 365 Marketing and would like to import a list of our globally unsubscribed / hard bounce contacts from Eloqua into Dynamics 365. How could this be accomplished? I'm looking around online and not seeing any clear answers.

Appreciate the help.

Thank you!

To clarify, I do not want to market to this list. I want to make sure we're not sending to these contacts that have previously unsubscribed in Eloqua, now that we're in D365.

    Hi,

    The list is marketing list?

    https://blog.datixinc.com/blog/import-marketing-list-members-microsoft-dynamics-365

Orn just contacts records list, maybe you can add one custom column as flag in the list, which is used to identify these records.

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/basics/import-accounts-leads-other-data?view=op-9-1

Then create one custom field in Dynamics 365, map the column to the custom field when you import data.

Then you can use the column as filter in marketing segment, when you send emails to contacts.

    Hi!

So we have had the same situation. Most of our contacts have already been transferred to the system, we did not transfer contacts who we consider as inactive. We currently mostly use Outbound marketing and use unsubscribe via the attirbute "do not allow bulk email" . The process might be different if you use Real Time or the consent process.

    Then what I did was:

    • Creating a marketing list called "unsub from XX"
    • Then created a file for upload to created connections (connected From: email addresses & connected to: name of your list) and uploading this file.
    • I connected the contacts to the list (finding using advance find)
    • Then in contacts I created a view to see all members in my list (related entity: marketing list > Marketing list equal name of your list)
    • Via Excel online (export in excel online) I updated all contacts to "do not allow bulk email"
    • Then save and done.
