Send email through CRM with Lotus Notes

Hello,

I'm setting a Dynamics CRM 2015 for a customer who uses Lotus Notes like mail provider. My customer doesn't need a whole integration Dynamics with Lotus, he only needs to send email from Dynamics.

I think, that first, I have to define a server profile and afterward I have to configure the mailbox, Is this correct?...... And, How could I connect or define the server profile?

    Server side synchronization works only with exchange online and its not supported with any other mail system like lotus notes. if you want to just send email from crm your best option would be buying single exchange online license and use that account to send all out going emails from the crm online using sserver side synchronization.

    You should be able to install the email router, configure to connect to CRM online and send emails out using SMTP via Lotus Notes.

    Thank you very much,

    I've finally gotten to synchronize the outgoing email with a server smtp like lotus notes. I've followed these steps:

    1º.- I've configured a new server profile with server type like POP/SMTP and the email address.

    2º.- I've assigned the new server profile to my mailbox

    3º.- I've indicated the new server profile and the type of the synchronization in the email system configuration
