We are using NAV 2009 R2 Version SG 4, SP2.

We are looking to implement mobile e-commerce in iOS and Android, for product browsing and ordering, we want this e-commerce platform to integrate seamlessly with NAV.

Any suggestions and opinion are well appreciated

    hi,

    only some suggestions:

you can use nav webservices for that issue (as already mentioned by Jonathan), but my best and few expensive solution for mobile (with old & new NAV releases); can work slao in offline mode.

    MobileNAV  http://www.mobilenav.com/

... you can use NAV Pages published in Web Services on IOS\Android APP ...pay for use.

you can find many others solutions "ready to start" for NAV:

    Sana Commerce

https://www.sana-commerce.com >  with NAV native connector

Mobicommerce (integration with Magento  & Prestashop)

    http://www.mobicommerce.net/  > with connectors

There is already a Universal Mobile App for NAV 2015 and 2016, may be it is worth upgrading Navision.

    Check the below link

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../dn789593(v=nav.90).aspx

If you need to develop for 2009 R2 then use the web services for integration.

There are already developed solution to cater your requirement, however the issue is your company is still running on a older version. My suggestion is to upgrade NAV to latest version and then try new solution applications.

If you want support on the solution please do contact your NAV partner and they will be able to help you out.
