10My customer combines incomplete pallets into complete pallets. Currently D365 calculates partial pallets of an item as a complete pallet in the Related information - Packing quantity totals side-panel of the sales order form (see below).
For example:
If there are 3 items that are 1/3 of a pallet each, D365 will calculate 3 pallets as delivery remainder, where the customer would combine these 3 pallets into 1 pallet and therefore expect to see 1 pallet as the delivery remainder. I do understand that this is dependent if the volumetrics allow the various items to be combined - the customer does already have a solution that does this calculation so it is possible - it would just be ideal if this can be configured in D365 directly.
Is there a configuration that can be done to change D365's standard calculation to perform partial pallet combining and rounding, making use of the unit of measure and pallet configuration calculation.
