Accounting Distributions in Ax 2012

Hi All ,

Purchase order form /purchase invoice has Accounting distributions in header and line level .

Purchase order/Invoice created with two lines as mentioned below

a) Procurement category

b) Nonstocked item

I can able to distribute the amounts for each line by using split button at the line level Distribute amounts form.

But when i click at the header level view distribution form all fields are non editable only.

Can i know what could be the reason and why always non editable and when will header level distribute option available?

Is that header level ..just view purpose or can we do distirbution header level .. any suggestion from pioneers ?

I already gone through the link and tried to do the same way but Heder does not allow to distribute the amount , only at line level .

Could please give a try from your end to know the result ?

Hi Lally, You can associate charges (like freight) at PO header level. After adding those charges, you can distribute the amount by using Accounting -> Distribute Amounts

Hi

On purchase orders, I have this warning, when I try to distribute the amount of one line, the following message is displayed.

A financial dimensión default template and a ledger allocation rule have been defined.

Hope, You have set the line amount in PO lines before distribution.

Can you please confirm whether you have selected Purchase order lines -> Financials -> Accounting -> Distribute amounts...?

Dear,

The solution is to update the ledger account that you can find under "Line details" Tab setup --> Just below the sales tax in the middle you have an area "Posting" If you fill here the ledger account he will update the ledger account in the accounting distribution and you will be able again to modify it via there.

Hi,

Please check the GL parameters where there is an option to select source document or accounting distribution. Please select the accounting distribution and try it.
